بفضل إيمان القياده السياسيه بأهمية التعليم والبحث العلمي لغدٍ أفضل، قام السيد رئيس الجمهورية بتدشين مشروع بنك المعرفة المصري في ١٤ نوفمبر ٢٠١٥ ، يعتبر بنك المعرفة المصري أحد أكبر وأشمل بنوك المعرفه الموجوده علي مستوي العالم نظراً لما يحتويه من مصادر معرفيه وتعليميه وثقافيه وبحثيه من أكبر دور النشر والإنتاج العالمية وبيوت الخبره المتخصصة ، كما يعتبر أحد المشروعات الرائده علي مستوى العالم من حيث الإتاحة علي المستوي القومي .

يحتوي بنك المعرفة المصري علي أربعة مكونات /بوابات رئيسية وفقاً لإهتمامات المستخدمين سواءاً عموم القراء من الشعب أو صغار السن أو الطلبه أو الباحثين بالإضافه إلي العديد من الخدمات الأخرى والتي تهدف إلي نشر الوعي والمعرفة بين أفراد الشعب والإرتقاء بجودة التعليم من خلال تبسيط العلوم الأساسيه وتعزيز جهود البحث العلمي والإرتقاء بجودة مخرجات البحث العلمي إلي مستوي التنافسيه الدوليه.

تحتوي البوابه الخاصه بعموم القراء علي المصادر المعرفية المحلية والإقليمية والعالمية باللغة العربية والإنجليزية مدعمه بواجهة تشغيل وبحث سهلة الإستخدام ومن أبرز المصادر قناة ديسكفري العالميه وقناة ناشيونال جيوجرافيك التعليمية والتي توفر العديد من وسائل شرح وتبسيط العلوم المختلفه في صورها المقروءه والمسموعه والمرئية كما تحتوي علي موسوعة بريتانيكا العامه الشهيره والتي توفر ملايين المقالات والفيديوهات والصور في كل إتجاهات المعرفة بالإضافه إلي آمهات الكتب التراثية والأدبية من المكتبة البريطانية باللغة العربية
وللطلبه بوابة خاصة سهلة الإستخدام تحتوي علي نظام بحث موحد مرن الإستخدام للبحث في آلاف المقرراة الدراسية للعلوم المختلفه للمراحل الجامعيه وقبل الجامعية وكذلك الكتب المرجعية من كبري دور النشر العامله في هذا المجال فضلاً عن موسوعة بريتانيكا للطلبة ومئات الآلاف من الفيديوهات والصور الحقيقيه والتخيليه لتبسيط إستيعاب العلوم من قنوات ديسكفري وناشيونال جيوجرافيك

بالنسبة للبوابة الخاصة بالباحثين فهي تحتوي علي أحدث ما وصل إليه العلم من إكتشافات من أكبر دور النشر العالمية وأعرق الجمعيات البحثية الغير هادفة للربح حيث تحتوي علي آلاف الدوريات العلمية المتخصصة ذات معاملات التآثير المرتفعه في المجالات البحثية المختلفة بالإضافة إلي مئات الآلاف من الكتب والمراجع العامة والمتخصصة وكذلك قواعد البيانات والأدوات البحثية المتخصصه وتشمل أيضاً موسوعة بريتانيكا الأكاديميه وديسكفري التعليميه ، فضلاً عن نظام البحث الموحد الذي يتميز بالدقه ومرونة الإستخدام ونظام التصفح الموضوعي لكافة التخصصات

جاءت أيضاً البوابه بنظام لدعم إتخاذ القرارت الطبيه وفقاً للمواصفات العالميه وإستناداً إلي الطب القائم علي الدليل وكذلك خبرات المتخصصين دعماً لجهود الإرتقاء بالرعاية الصحية والعلاجيه لجمهورية مصر العربية .

البوابة تشمل نظام متكامل لدعم توثيق المحتوى المعرفي ،العلمي لكافة الجامعات والمراكز البحثية مما يدعم ذاكرة مصر العلمية والبحثية وهي كما يلي :

١) نظام إدارة المجلات العلمية وفهرستها وحفظها إلكترونياً

٢) نظام لإدارة المؤتمرات ويشمل إدارة المسابقات العلمية وإدارة ورش عمل المؤتمرات وإدارة تسجيل المشاركين وإدارة المعارض وإدارة النشر .

٣) نظام تقييم الناتج العلمي المحلي وهو نظام متميز متكامل تم تصميمه للهيئات العلمية لمراقبة وتقييم المجلات العلمية المحلية الخاصة بها .

٤) نظام حفظ وتجميع الناتج المحلي بشكل قومي حيث أن النظام يتيح لكل الباحثين علي مستوي الجمهورية الحفظ والإسترجاع بشكل مركزي مع إحكام إدارة النظام .

ومن المتوقع أن تقوم البوابة بإتاحة خدماتها كاملة لكافة فئات الشعب المصري بداية من 23 يناير 2016

Thanks to the political leadership’s belief in the importance of education and scientific research for a better tomorrow, the President of the Republic inaugurated the Egyptian Knowledge Bank project on November 14, 2015, the Egyptian Knowledge Bank is one of the largest and most comprehensive knowledge banks in the world due to the knowledge, educational, cultural and research resources it contains from the largest role. Global publishing and production and specialized expertise houses, and it is considered one of the pioneering projects in the world in terms of availability at the national level.

The Egyptian Knowledge Bank contains four main components / portals according to the interests of users, whether general readers from the people, young people, students, or researchers in addition to many other services that aim to spread awareness and knowledge among the people and improve the quality of education by simplifying basic science and strengthening efforts Scientific research and upgrading the quality of scientific research outputs to the level of international competitiveness.

The general readership portal contains local, regional and international knowledge resources in Arabic and English supported by an easy-to-use operating and search interface. Among the most prominent sources are the International Discovery Channel and the National Geographic Educational Channel, which provides many means of explaining and simplifying the various sciences in their readable, audiovisual and visual images as well as the Encyclopedia Britannica General The famous one, which provides millions of articles, videos and photos in all directions of knowledge, in addition to the mothers of heritage and literary books from the British Library in Arabic
For students, a special easy-to-use portal contains a unified search system that is flexible to use to search thousands of different science courses for university and pre-university levels, as well as reference books from major publishing houses working in this field as well as the Encyclopedia Britannica for students and hundreds of thousands of real and imaginary videos and images to simplify the understanding of science Discovery and National Geographic channels

As for the portal for researchers, it contains the latest discoveries made by science from the world’s largest publishing houses and the most prestigious non-profit research societies, as it contains thousands of specialized scientific journals with high impact coefficients in various research fields in addition to hundreds of thousands of general and specialized books and references as well as Databases and specialized research tools that also include the Britannica Academic Encyclopedia and the Educational Discovery, as well as a unified search system that is characterized by accuracy and flexibility of use and an objective browsing system for all disciplines

The portal also came with a system to support medical decision-making in accordance with international standards and based on evidence-based medicine as well as the expertise of specialists in support of efforts to improve health care and treatment in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The Knowledge Bank also includes a special portal for young people supported by a simple navigation system and a distinct design for children. The portal contains many educational stories and games supported by audio-visual aids.

Establishment and implementation process

Partnership agreements include hundreds of workshops, seminars and training courses presented by the best global expertise houses to enhance the benefit from the use of various resources and the advancement of the educational process and scientific research outputs

The portal includes an integrated system to support the documentation of the knowledge and scientific content of all universities and research centers, which supports Egypt’s scientific and research memory, as follows:

1) A system for managing scientific journals, indexing and archiving electronically

2) A conference management system that includes managing scientific competitions, managing conference workshops, managing participant registration, exhibiting management, and publishing management.

3) The Local Scientific Product Evaluation System, which is a distinct integrated system designed for scientific bodies to monitor and evaluate their own local scientific journals.

4) The system for preserving and collecting the local product nationally, as the system allows all researchers at the level of the Republic to preserve and retrieve in a centralized manner, while tightly managing the system.

It is expected that the portal will fully provide its services to all segments of the Egyptian people, starting from January 23, 2016
